Madeline is an international arbitration practitioner, arbitrator and commercial mediator. She is serving her 2nd term as the President–Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb) and member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration actively also in its ICC Africa Commission as an ambassador and the ICC Commission on Arbitration & ADR as member. Ms. Kimei is a member of LACIAC Court of Arbitration and a Director Tanzania International Arbitration Centre (TIAC). Madeline was an awardee of the Top 50 Most Promising Young Arbitration Practitioner’s Award 2020 by the East Africa International Arbitration Conference winning a mentorship program with Stephenson Harwood -UK to mention a few. She is shortlisted for the GAR 45 Under 45 and sits on various panels globally including the panel of arbitrators of European Commission as Chairperson in arbitrations; TIArb, BIAMC, AFSA-SADC, HKIAC, TIArb, SHIAC -CAJAC. She has arbitrated, advised and represented parties in matters under the CRICA, ICC, KIAC, LCIA, TIArb, UNCITRAL and the EDF Rules 1990.
