Jane has substantial experience of arbitrations in Africa, acting as legal advisor, counsel or arbitrator in countries across the continent.  Within Tanzania, Jane has acted as counsel for TANROADS, the Ministry of Works, MCA-T and the Tanzanian Broadcasting Corporation, most recently leading a counsel team of 3VB and State Attorneys in three UNCITRAL arbitrations.  All three arbitrations were determined in TANROADS’ favour.

Jane is a co-founder and vice-chair of the International Advisory and Dispute Resolution Unit at 3VB, committed to assisting clients (including the Government of Tanzania) achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals through pro bono and quasi pro bono work and capacity building.
