Leah Njoroge

Leah specializes in international dispute resolution, with a focus on investment treaty and commercial arbitration. Leah is Legal Counsel at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), an organization of the World Bank Group established for the resolution of disputes between sovereign States and foreign investors, where she serves as tribunal secretary in investment treaty arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining ICSID in 2019, Leah worked for a number of years at a leading arbitration practice in Nairobi, where she represented parties in multi-million-dollar complex arbitrations ranging from commercial, investment treaty and commodity disputes. She actively participates in leadership initiatives and was formerly a LCIA-YIAG regional representative for Kenya. Leah holds degrees from the World Trade Institute, Switzerland (Master of International Law & Economics) and the University of Nairobi (LL.B) and is admitted to practice law in Kenya.
