Martha is an assistant professor at Addis Ababa University School of Law. She has an extensive experience in teaching, research and training on AfCFTA and International trade and investment law matters. She holds LL.B from AAU, LL.M from University of Western Cape and a Dr Iur from Martin Luther University of Halle Wittenberg. She has published on local and international journals on the area of African integration, Ethiopia’s investment regulation and Ethiopia’s Accession to the WTO, among others. She is one of the two experts nominated by the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration of Ethiopia to the indicative list of Panelists to serve in the dispute settlement body of the AfCFTA. She also practices law at Mehrteab and Getu Advocates LLP where she works as legal director.
