Patrick Turinawe is an Executive in ENSafrica l Uganda. He has acted for clients in several sectors including banking and finance, tax, infrastructure, civil, fraud and insurance claims. Patrick’s experience includes acting for the Central Bank of the Republic of Uganda, several financial institutions, multinationals and government agencies in commercial disputes before the High Court and Court of Appeal. He has represented Uganda’s Bar Association before the Constitutional Court. Patrick has vast experience in tax litigation before the Tax Appeals Tribunal and appellate courts. He has represented multinational companies in arbitration proceedings within Africa and enforcement proceedings in Uganda. Patrick taught Alternative Disputes Resolutions at Uganda Christian University for 5 years. He has also participated in several arbitration conferences in Africa as a panellist and speaker.
Patrick is a member of the Uganda Law Society where he has served in several capacities including as Deputy Chairperson of the Continuing Legal Education Committee (CLE), Coordinator of the Labor Law Cluster and Chair of the Law Firm Management Training) Patrick is also a member of the East Africa Law Society where he serves as a member of the East Africa Arbitration Cluster.
