Nderitu is a highly accomplished legal professional. He achieved recognition as the 1st Runner up for the ADR Practitioner of the year 2023 by the Law Society of Kenya at the Nairobi Legal Awards. Holding a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, Uganda, along with diplomas in International Arbitration from the Africa Arbitration Academy and Domestic and International Commercial Arbitration from CIArb London, his expertise in dispute resolution is vast. Proficient in arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and commercial litigation, he is authorized to practice in institutions like the Astana International Financial Centre Court and International Arbitration Centre in Kazakhstan. Nderitu is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators. Previously serving as the Chair of CIArb, Kenya Branch and a member of the LCIA African Users’ Council, his mediation accreditation from various reputable organizations in Kenya highlights his ADR proficiency. His roles as a tutor and examiner under CIArb London, as well as being listed on arbitration and mediation panels in Kenya and China, showcase his contributions. Serving on boards for NCIA, ICC Kenya, ODR Africa Network, and MICADR in Pakistan, he actively participates in the legal community through various committees and advisory roles.
